The Orion Companies (TOC) have announced the acquisition of a biologics and biorational product portfolio from MicrobesRx and Evo Agri, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovative crop health and productivity solutions.
“This acquisition represents an important milestone in Orion’s long-term growth strategy,” said Matt Nespeca, Chief Growth Officer of The Orion Companies. “The acquired portfolio includes a range of biological and biorational technologies designed to support plant, soil and aquatic health across Orion’s businesses, including our proprietary Tempus Ag, Orion Solutions and Orion Professional Turf Products portfolios. We are extremely excited to incorporate these solutions into our business and further develop our biologics offerings.”
Along with the acquisition, Josh Harildstad, President of MicrobesRx and Evo Agri, has accepted the position of Head of Biologics for The Orion Companies. “We are proud of the work we accomplished to develop this portfolio, and we believe Orion is the ideal organization to further commercialize these technologies and expand our reach to growers, retailers and applicators.”
The Orion Companies plans to integrate the portfolio into its existing agricultural solutions business immediately, with continued support for current customers and ongoing product development initiatives.
