The Orion Companies (TOC) and the division of Orion Professional Turf Products (PTP) is pleased to welcome Jay Wyrick to the team as Turf & Ornamental Account Manager in the Carolinas and Georgia effective April 20th. Jay joins the team with over four decades of experience in the turf and ornamental industry, building a career centered on agronomy, operations, and people development. Jay was a key member of the varsity golf team at UNC Wilmington which became the foundation that led him into golf course management. Jay also owned and operated a lawn care business for over 20 years. Most recently, Jay worked as an agronomist and operations leader – developing turf and ornamental programs, training teams, and building systems that drive consistency, performance and a better customer experience.

His enthusiasm for helping clients achieve healthy, high-performing landscapes makes him a great addition to the team and we look forward to the impact he’ll make.” Jay earned an associate degree in Turfgrass Management from NC State and can still be found on a golf course during his down time. Jay also enjoys fishing, good food and spending time with friends and family, and is based in Charlotte, NC.
