The Orion Companies (TOC) is pleased to welcome Grant Shepherd to the team as an Account Manager based in Texas. In his new role with TOC, Grant will service forestry, aquatics, vegetation management, and range and pasture clients. Grant joins The Orion Companies with experience as a GIS and Application Specialist in the Forestry Division and has held various roles in Forestry Sales in LA and TX with Nutrien Solutions. Keven Ireland, Director of IVM & Forestry stated, “Grant has a strong background in building client relationships and delivering exceptional service, and we’re confident he will be a great partner to both our team and our customers. We’re excited to welcome him to our team.”
Grant pursued a double major in Agribusiness and Site-Specific Management, while also earning a master’s degree in Physical Education and Coaching from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Grant played collegiate baseball for six years demonstrating a strong work ethic, leadership, and a deep commitment to teamwork. Grant lives in Houston, TX with his wife Hailey and in his personal time he enjoys golfing, watching LSU athletics, hunting and fishing.
