The Orion Companies (TOC) would like to announce that Jake Britton is officially joining our team full-time as Eastern Aquatic Lead and Account Manager, effective November 1, 2025. As many of you know, Jake has been working with us as a contractor over the past two years, playing an integral role in supporting our aquatics initiatives across the region. During this time, Jake has demonstrated exceptional leadership, deep industry knowledge and a strong commitment to advancing our mission in aquatic market development and management.
For over 25 years prior to joining Orion, Jake held various positions in the Aquatic and Vector markets throughout the Midwest. Jake’s wide range of experience includes technical support for lake managers, aquatic plant management research, leading a large lake and pond management business and roles in the aquatic management product distribution and manufacturing space.
Jake earned his BS degree in Aquatic Biology from Grand Valley State University and since has been a member of the Midwest Aquatic Plant Management Society for over 25 years, currently serves as a director, and is a past President. Jake is also a member of several industry organizations including APMS, NALMS, SLMP, ILMS and others.
