The Orion Companies (TOC) would like to welcome Wykle Greene to the organization as an Account Manager located in Florida. The addition of Wykle to the team continues to magnify our industry-leading, service driven sales team and expands our footprint in the southeast.
Wykle’s passion for land stewardship and agriculture runs deep, having grown up working on his family’s farm in Southeast Alabama where they raised cattle and grew cotton and peanuts. Wykle’s hands-on experience sparked a lifelong commitment to agriculture and natural resource management. Prior to The Orion Companies, Wykle served as a Territory Manager at Syngenta where he supported the aquatics market across the Southeastern U.S. (North Carolina to Texas) and the lawn care market in Central Florida. Wykle worked closely with aquatic plant managers, applicators, and public agencies to develop and support responsible, successful vegetation management programs.
Wykle earned a B.S. in Agronomy & Soils, an M.S. in Weed Science from Auburn University, and his Ph.D. in Weed Science from Virginia Tech. Wykle also completed his postdoctoral fellow at Virginia Tech. Wykle is deeply engaged in the industry community, actively participating and serving on the board of several regional aquatic plant management societies, including MSAPMS, FAPMS, SCAPMS, and SFAPMS. Wykle resides in Tampa, Florida where he loves to spend time on the beach with his 3 dogs, Molly, Pablo and Abita and in his free time Wykle enjoys producing and performing music and staying active.
